Grants up to $5 million for Australian wood processors

Australian wood processors can apply for grant funding between $1 million and $5 million to invest in new and upgraded wood processing facilities and technology that will improve domestic wood processing efficiency and capacity.

The program will support projects which make better us of our existing timber reousreces, add value to existing products, create new products and/or contribute to the industry’s capacity reduce its carbon footprint.

Applicants can apply for up to 40 per cent of total project costs, with applicants contribution the remaining 60 per cent.

Eligible applicants must be one of the following entity types:

• Indigenous corporation

• Company

• Cooperative

• Incorporated Association

Applications close at 9PM on 28 February 2023.
