Up to $500,000 to support advanced manufacturing in the Northern Territory

The Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre (AMGC) are offering grants to support commercialisation of new products and processes which help build the advanced manufacturing ecosystem in the Northern Territory.

Eligible Australian businesses, including start-ups, can apply for a grant from $25,000 and up to $500,000 on a 50:50 co-contribution basis.

The purpose of the grant is to:

  • build the advanced manufacturing ecosystem in the NT across the Territory’s priority sectors;

  • grow advanced manufacturing capabilities in the Nt across the Territory’s priority sectors; and

  • increase investment in, and output of advanced manufacturing activity in the NT, as well as the number of advanced manufacturing jobs located in the NT

Eligible activities may related to a number of areas including:

  • Carbon reduction

  • Construction

  • Critical minerals

  • Defence and security

  • Digital technologies

  • Energy

  • Fabrication

  • Food and Agriculture

  • Maritime

  • Material recovery/recycling

  • Medical and pharmaceuticals

  • Petrochemicals

  • Resources technology

  • Space

The Advanced Manufacturing Ecosystem (AME) fund is currently open, is continuous and competitive., with the program closing to applications on 30 June 2026.
