Up to $50,000 grant funding to help WA businesses secure Government and other contracts
The WA Local Capability Fund (LCF) will support local businesses to improve their capacity to supply goods, services and works to the State Government, major projects and other important markets by offering competitive grants of up to $50,000 to successful applicants.
Successful applicants can use the funding for activities such as planning, internal infrastructure, plant and equipment, and training.
The funding is delivered across three streams of funding:
Aboriginal Business: businesses with majority Aboriginal ownership can receive grants of up to $50,000 (up to 75% of eligible project costs) to improve their capacity, capability and competitiveness to supply products, services and works to Government agencies and the private sector;
Supplying Key Major Projects: grants of up to $50,000 (up to 75% of eligible project costs) to help SMEs improve thier capacity and capability to supply to major State Government civil construction and infrastructure projects (listed on the Pipeline of Works website); and for other major public or private sector projects; and
National and International Standards Compliance: grants of up to $20,000 (up to 75% of eligible project costs) to help SMEs with the costs of engaging external expertise to carry out implementation and third party certification of national and international standards.
Applications for the Aboriginal Business and Supplying Key Major projects streams of funding must be submitted by 21 September 2022.
Applications for the National and International Standards Compliance grants will be considered until funding is exhausted, at which time the program will be closed to new applications.
