Up to $300,000 for recycled organics R and D

The Recycling Victoria Research and Development Fund - Organics if offering grants up to $300,000, on a 50:50 co-contribution basis (cash or in-kind) to support businesses and research organisations to research and develop innovative ways to improve processes, performance or systems for recycled organics.

Eligible applicants include:

  • Research and Development Corporations

  • Universities

  • Catchment Management Authorities

  • Farmer owned research and development organisations

  • Composting businesses

  • Councils

  • Agricultural enterprises

  • Civil construction businesses

  • Industry groups and associations

Applications are encouraged from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations.

Eligible projects must improve process, performance or systems for existing recycled organics products and must:

  • be located in, or service Victoria

  • have potential to increase market demand

  • improve existing recycled organics products

  • meet regulatory or planning requirements

  • be completed within 2 years of commencement date
