Up to $3 million in grant funding for industry led collaborative projects

The Cooperative Research Centre - Projects (CRC-P) grants program provides between $100,000 and $3 million for short term research collaborations. Grants are offered on a co-contribution basis, with cash and in-kind contribution from the applicant being treated equally.

CRC-P Round 11 is open to all industry sectors but has a focus on supporting projects aligned with National Manufacturing Priorities, and includes dedicated funding for projects that support R&D activities in regional areas.

Applicants must represent an industry-led research collaboration with at least:

  • 2 x Australian industry organisations, including at least 1 x SME

  • 1 x Australian research organisation

Projects must:

  • develop a product, service or process that will solve problems for industry and deliver real outcomes

  • benefit small to medium enterprises (SMEs)

  • include education and training activities

Among the activities for which funding can be used are new research, PoC, pre-commercialisation, industry focused education and training, and conferences and workshops related to the joint research.
