Up to $1 million for startup and early stage research and commercialisation

The Research, Commercialisation and Start-up Fund offers support to researchers, entrepreneurs and businesses to collaborate and commercialise new products and services with up to $1 million in matching grant funding to entrepreneurs to start and scale innovative, early stage businesses.

Generally applicants must be an eligible South Australian entity, however in some circumstances applicants located outside of South Australia may be eligible if there is demonstrable commitment to relocate and maintain the enterprise in South Australia (in part or in full).

Eligibility criteria includes:

• Annual turnover less than $1 million

• Project must involve development of a novel product, process or service

• Proposal must demonstrate a sustainable competitive advantage

• Applicant must provide evidence of technical and/or commercial feasibility

• Must demonstrate access to relevant know how and/or IP

Applications are made via a two-stage process and can be submitted at any time.
