Recycling Victoria Business Support Fund - Stream 2

The Recycling Victoria Business Support Fund - Implementation Grant is aimed at supporting businesses to implement evidence-based circular economy business opportunities and approaches in Victoria. The Fund will offer grants from $100,000 to $1,000,000 on a $1:$1 matching funding basis. Up to 10% of the applicant co-contribution may be in-kind.

Grants are available to businesses; charities; other NFP’s; industry groups and associations and Consultants (when acting as a lead applicant in a collaborative partnership) and at least 50% of the project activities must be in Victoria.

The project must target at least one of:

• reduce generation of product or material waste by at least 750 tonnes per year

• reduce the materials intensity of a product, service or model by at least 750 tonnes per year

• redistribute materials or products (to prevent waste) by at least 750 tonnes per year

• re-use, re-manufacture or up-cycle materials or products by at least 750 tonnes per year

• increase capacity to prevent waste or to re-use, re-manufacture, re-distribute or up-cycle materials or products by at least 2,500 tonnes per year

• increase capacity to recycle materials or product currently wasted, through new and innovative solutions, by at least 2,500 tonnes per year

Projects must focus on one of the program focus areas and meet the specified objectives.
