Indigenous Tourism Grants up to $100,000

The Tourism Grants for Indigenous Business funding program will make a total of $12 million available over four years to help increase the number of indigenous-owned tourism products across the Australian market.

Indigenous owned tourism businesses can apply for up to $50,000 and indigenous owned community organisations can apply for up to $100,000.

Grant funding can be used to support project activities conducting within Australia including:

  • purchase of small plant and equipment

  • tourism product development

  • strategic planning

  • IT equipment and software

  • production of marketing material

To be eligible to apply for the Indigenous business opportunity you must:

  • have an ABN and be registered for GST (exemptions may apply in special circumstances)

  • have an account with an Australian financial institution

  • be a business with 50% or more indigenous ownership

Indigenous community organisation applications must be endorsed in writing by the Regional Manager of the NIAA Region in which your organisation is located and meet the eligibility criteria specified in the program guidelines.

Applications must be submitted by 12:00am (ACT local time) on 23 March 2021.
