Grant funding up to $1million to improve recycling in Victoria

The Victorian Government are inviting eligible entities to apply for grant funding, on a co-contribution basis, from between $50,000 and $1 million for projects that will improve recycling in Victoria.

The Circular Economy Recycling Modernisation Fund will support projects that improve recycling by:

  • upgrading infrastructure

  • upgrading technology

  • increasing processing capacity

  • increasing the amount of recycled materials being made into new products

Project must focus on one or more of the following materials:

  • Plastic (including e-plastic_

  • Paper and cardboard

  • Glass (regional only)

  • Food and garden organics from kerbside collections

  • Tyres

Eligible entities include:

  • Business and industry

  • Local government

  • Social enterprises and not-for-profit organisations

Applications must be submitted by 11:59pm (AEST‚ on Friday 11 August 2023.
