Government grants up to $2 million for emerging aviation technology
The Australian Government are inviting eligible entities to apply for up to $2 million in government grant funding to support the development and deployment of emerging aviation technology, including drones, electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and renewable or low emissions aviation propulsion systems.
The Government aims to partner with successful applicants to develop and deploy emerging aviation technologies, with a focus on renewable or low energy sources, to address community needs, particularly in regional and remote Australia.
The maimum grant amount is $2 million, with no minimum grant. There is no limite on financial congributions, however applicants with a higher co-contribution will represent better value for money and lower risk to the Commonwealth.
Applications close at 11:30pm (AEST) on 27 July 2023.
