Grant funding to improve SME capability, capacity and competitiveness.

The Western Australian Local Capability Fund is offering grant funding up to $50,000, on a co-contribution basis to support SME’s to increase their capability, capacity and competitiveness to supply products, services and works to the WA Government, major projects and other important markets.

Depending on the funding stream, the funding can be used for expenses such as:

  • Improving internal infrastructure, plant and equipment.

  • Training.

  • Meeting qualification requirements for supply-chain entry.

  • Buying and upgrading essential equipment.

  • Engaging consultants to advise on matters including occupational health and safety, marketing, finance and cybesecurity.

  • Planning improvements to internal infrastructure, plant and equipment training.

Funding streams include:

  • Aboriginal business round.

  • Digital transformation round.

  • Standards and compliance round.

  • Supplying key projects round.

  • Regional business rounds.

Most of the currently opened streams of funding close on Friday 13th September 2024.
