Government grants up to $100,000 for gender equality projects

The WA Government are offering grants of up to $100,000 of initiatives that advance gender equality and build a better, fairer and more equitable community in Western Australia.

Projects must align with at least one of the program priority areas which include:

  • Health and Wellbeing

  • Safety and Justice

  • Women in Leadership

  • Women’s Economic Independence

Grants supporting a range of initiatives include:

  • Up to $10,000 for one-off activities or initiatives that contribute to the priority areas

  • $10,000 - $25,0000 for collaborative projects that attract co-funding which contribute to creating sustainable or systemic change in the priority areas

  • Up to $50,000 for innovative pilot programs, up to two years duration, contributing to the priority areas

  • Up to $100,000 for programs that support the implementation of the recommendations of the Respect@Work: National Inquiry into Sexual Harassment in Australian Workplaces

Eligible applicants include:

  • incorporated, not-for-profit community sector organsiations

  • Western Australian local government authorities

  • unincorporated organisations or community groups, applying through the auspice of an incorporated body or a local government authority

Applicants should consider how their proposed initiatives aligns with the State Government Stronger Together: WA’s Plan for Gender Equality framework.

Applications must be submitted by 23rd November 2022.
