Building Better Regions Fund

Building Better Regions Fund - Round 5 is open now for applications. A total of $200 million has been allocated to the program, with $100 million of the funding dedicated to tourism related infrastructure projects.

Eligible applicants include:

  • incorporated Not for Profit organisations;

  • Local Government agency or body;

  • Non-distributing cooperative.

BBRF Infrastructure Stream: Grants from $20,000 and up to $10 million to cover at least 50% of eligible costs for projects that deliver economic and social benefits to regional and remote areas. This may include construction of new infrastructure or the upgrade/extension of existing infrastructure.

BBRF Community Investment: Grants from $5,000 and up to $1 million to cover at least 50% of eligible costs for projects that deliver economic and social benefits to regional and remote areas. This may include new or expanded local events; strategic regional plans; or leadership and capability strengthening activities.

Applications and closes on 5 March 2021.
