Wind Energy Manufacturing Grant Funding up to $500,000
The Australian Manufacturing Growth Centre (AMGC) has allocated $8 million towards the Wind Energy Manufacturing Co-Investment Program to provide co-funding and advice to support the building of capability and capacity of WA businesses to participate in wind energy manufacturing and servicing supply chains.
The program has two funding streams including:
Stream A - Market Entry: Focussed on building capability, successful applicants will be offered up to $60,000 to support up to 50% of eligible project costs which may include activities such as pre-qualification, accredication, niche software, process improvement and other activities.
Stream B - Market Growth: Focussed on building the capacity and capability of businesses to participate in the wind energy supply chain, successful applicants will be offered funding between $250,000 and $500,000 to support eligible project related capital expenditure and/or operating expenditure. Project activities and expenditure may include plant & equipment, R&D projects to support an increased competitive advantage, and associated investment in market entry activity.
Eligible applicant must:
Be an incorporated Australian entity, including startups and trading corporations, where the principal project activities and operations are based in Western Australia.
Have an ACN and an ABN and be registered for GST.
Wholly owned Australian companies will score higher against the evaluation criteria.
Have an eligible project with an 18-month completion timeline.
The program will accept applications until Thursday 20 May 2027 (or until program funding is exhausted).
