WA Innovation Vouchers

Applications are now open for WA start-ups and SME’s to apply for an Innovation Voucher up to the value of $20,000.

The Innovation Vouchers program aims to support innovation initiatives, decrease the commercialisation gap, activate industry-government-research collaborations, increase R&D investment in WA and promote job creation and economic diversification in WA.

The purpose of the Innovation Vouchers is to:

  • help develop new or enhanced commercially ready products or services

  • establish prototype, processes or systems to attract additional investment

  • address a particular technical problem that cannot be solved by the applicant, or for which the solution is not readily available

Vouchers up to $20,000 will be awarded to successful eligible applications on a net cash co-investment rate of at least 20:80 applicant-to-state government funding.

Eligible expenditure categories include:

  • Research and Development

  • Product Development

  • Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property

  • Commercialisation Support Services
