Up to $75,000 grant funding to install EV charging infrastructure

The Western Australian Government are offering government grants, on a 50:50 co-contribution basis, of up to $50,000 (metro areas) and up to $75,000 (regional / remote areas) to support eligible organisations to purchase and install electric vehicle charging stations and associated software.

The grant program will fund the following:

  • 50 per cent of the cost of up to four Level Two EV chargers (7 to 22kW AC) per site, for up to five sites

  • 50 per cent of EV charger installation costs, with a cap of $5,000 per site in metropolitan areas and $10,000 per site in regional/remote areas

  • 75 per cent of the cost of a two-year smart charging software subscription

Eligible applicants include small and medium businesses; not-for-profit organisations, and local government authorities.

Applications close on 12 May 2023 and will be assessed on a first come first served basis until the funding allocation is fully expended.
