Up to $50,000 for Victorian packaging waste reduction or recovery initiatives

The Victorian Investment Support Grant will support SME’s, NFP’s, and social enterprise to pursue packaging waste reduction or recovery initiatives with up to $50,000 in grant funding offers to successful applicants on a co-contribution basis.

Eligible projects must:

  • Reduce generation of packaging waste

  • Increase or improve recovery of packaging waste

  • Manufacturing packaging using recovered materials

  • Manufacture new products using packaging waste

The program aims to achieve the following outcomes:

  • 6,000 tonnes of packaging waste diverted from landfill

  • 30 new FTE jobs created

  • at least 50% of grantees produce new products using packaging waste
