SME Government Grant funding up to $240,000

The Australian Government are offering grant funding from $24,000 and up to $240,000 on an 80:20 co-contribution basis to support SME’s to invest in projects that strengthen export capability to build stronger, more sustainable and globally competitive Australian defence industry.

Australian defence exports are defined as ‘any defence-specific or dual-use goods or services exported by Australian defence industry, including as part of a supply chain, that are intended for a defence or national security end-user’.

Eligible applicants include:

  • Incorporated Australian companies

  • Incorporated trustee on behalf of a trust

Project activities may include:

  • buying, leasing, constructing, installating or commissioning of capital equipment, including specialist software to enhance cyber security

  • design, engineering and commissioning activiites

  • workforce training and accreditations

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
