Grants up to $11 million to support AI and Digital Capability centres

The Australian Government is offering grant funding to successful applicants to establish four AI and Digital Capability centres across Australia to drive the adoption and use of AI technologies by Australian businesses.

These centres will connect SME's with AI equipment and tools, provide services and training, and link them to AI skills and expertise, whilst supporting the development, commercialisation, and adoption of new high-value AI products and services for the domestic and global market.

Eligible lead applicants must have an ABN and be one of the following:

  • an entity incorporated in Australia

  • a publicly funded research organisation (PFRO)

All applicants are required to submit join applications with at least one industry partner and build on an existing technology, or manufacturing hub, or university.

Applications close at 5PM (AEST) on 12 May 2022.
