Cooperative Research Centre Grants funding round open

The Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources has opened Round 23 of Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) grants.

The CRC Grants program offers funding to support medium to long term (up to 10 years) industry led collaborative research programs aimed at solving industry identified problems. CRC applicants must offer at least 50% co-contribution through cash and/or in-kind.

Successful CRC’s must:

  • be a medium to long term industry led collaborative research program

  • aim to solve industry identified problems and improve competitiveness, productivity and sustainability of Australian industries

  • include an industry-focused education and training program, including a PhD program

  • increase R&D capacity in small to medium (SME) enterprises

Applications are open to all industry sectors, research disciplines and community sectors.
