Innovation Connections services and grants support

The Entrepeneurs Programme provides a number of programmes and supports to help Australian businesses strengthen, grow, innovate and commercialise.

The Innovations Connections component provides services to help businesses understand their research needs and find the right expertise in the research sector, with successful business applicants having access to up to $50,000 in grants to support collaborative research projects.

Innovation Connections projects are for up to 12 months duration and each SME can access up to two Research Placements or Business Researcher placement grants, as well as one Graduate Placement Grant.

Researchers placed in your business work collaborative on a project to develop and implement anew idea with commercial potential (up to $50,000).

Business Researcher Placements involved a business own research employee placed into a publicly funded research organisations, including CSIRO and Australian universities, to work collaboratively on a project and/or access specialised equipment and research infrastructure (up to $50,000).

Graduate Placements are the employment of a graduate or postgraduate into your business to undertake a research project for 6-12 months (up to a maximum of $30,000).
