Incubator Support - up to $100,000 in grant funding

The Expert in Residence program offers grants from $5,000 up to $100,000 on a matching funding basis to existing incubators or new incubators that can foster and facilitate the development of innovative start-ups with a focus on international trade.

The funding supports incubators to increase their capabilities to help start-ups improve the chance of commercial success in international markets.

The funding allows incubators to provide access to high quality research, manager and technical talent through incoming and outgoing secondments of national and international experts.

Funding can be used towards:

• workshops where an expert can give advice on developing business activities

• engaging a national or international expert with relevant knowledge and international experience to assist start-ups to address key challenges during an incubator program

• national or international exchanges with an expert from another incubator either in Australia or overseas
