Grants from $20-$200 million for large, collaborative manufacturing projects

The Australian Government are offering co-funding support for large-scale transformational manufacturing projects that increase collaboration, build scale, support progress toward higher value added activities and increase competitiveness.

The Modern Manufacturing Initiative - Manufacturing Collaboration Stream is offering grants from $20 million and up to $200 million.

Applicants must have an Australian business number (ABN) and:

  • have a project that is aligned with one or more of the six National Manufacturing Priorities

  • has project eligible expenditure of at least $60,6 million

  • has no more than 50% of the project funded from Commonwealth funding sources

  • has not more than 65% of the project funded from all government sources combined (including Commonwealth, State, Territory and Local)

  • has a project that shows the potential to expand or promote interstate or international trade

  • is supported by letters from your project partners

The program will open for application from 11 August 2021 and close on 9 September 2021 (5pm AEST).
