Grant funding up to $3 million for industry-led research collaboration
The Australian government are offering competitive grants up to $3 million on a matching funding basis, for projects of up to three years duration.
The Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) grants provide funding to support research collaborations to develop a new technology, product or service which has a commercial use or application.
Projects seeking funding are expected to align with Government priorities including the:
National Reconstruction Fund (NFR) Priority Areas which include:
Renewables and low emissions technologies
Medical science
Transport
Value-add in the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors
Value-add in resources
Defence capability
Enabling capabilities
Science and Research Priorities which include:
Food
Soil and Water
Transport
Cybersecurity
Energy
ResourcesAdvanced Manufacturing
Environmental Change
Health
Eligible applicants must include at least:
Two Australian industry organisations, including at least 1 SME, and
One Australian research organisations
Applications must be submitted by an eligible lead applicant which holds and ABN and is incorporated in Australia and a trading corporation.
Eligible projects must:
Develop a product, service or process that will solve problems for industry and deliver real outcomes

Funding can be used to cover costs of activities which may include:
New research
Proof of Concept activities
Pre-commercailsiation of research outcomes
Industry-focused education and training activities
Conferences, workshops, symposia related to the joint research
Information sharing and communications related to the research
other activities may also be eligible
Application must be submitted by 5pm (AEDT) Thursday 2nd March.
