Up to $100,000 grant funding for West Australian entrepreneurial education programs

The West Australian Government New Industry Fund is offering grant funding up to $100,000 on a competitive application basis.

The X-TEND WA program aims to invest in organisation that deliver initiatives which assist and support the WA Innovation Ecosystem. This may come in a variety or formats such as educational forums, mentoring, ideation, incubator, accelerator, scale-up or investor ready programs, co-working spaces, recurring events and/or innovation hubs.

Applicatoins will be accepted from eligible entities that have a proven track record of success and can deliver activities in one or more of teh following streams:

  1. Entrepreneurial Education: e.g. business mentoring, ideation, incubators, accelerators, scale-up and investor read programs where there is a strong market need.

  2. Investor Education: Education and activation of current and potential investors by providing best practice tools to make more successful investment decision for investing in local innovation ventures.

  3. Broader ecosystem support: e.g. co-working spaces, entrepreneurs in residence, recurring events, incubators and innovation hubs that educate and build networking in regional Western Australia.
