mRNA Victoria Research Acceleration Fund

The MRNA Victoria Research Acceleration fund is offering grants up to $500,000, on a 50:50 co-contribution basis (cash and/or in-kind), to support research into the development of new RNA and mRNA-based vaccines and therapeutics.

Two tiers of funding are available:

  • Tier 1: supporting early-stage research projects (up to $100,000)

  • Tier 2: supporting fast-tracking the translation of research into health and economic outcomes (up to $500,000)

The majority of the research activity must be conducted in Victoria and applicants must have a collaborative partnership with at least one other organisation, which may include organisations outside of Australia.

Applications close on 15 December 2023.
